Choudhary Roadlines

We have been running things from Reti Stand for quite some time now. The office is right there at the Choraha, just across from the LIC building. It’s a busy place and the noise from the traffic never really stops during the day. We spend most of our time on the phone or checking where the trucks have reached. It’s a bit dusty because of all the construction and vehicles passing by, but we are used to it by now. There isn't anything fancy about how we work. It is mostly just keeping track of loads and making sure the drivers know where they are going. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy and the tea gets cold before we can drink it, but that is just part of the daily routine here. Most of the people around the LIC office know us because we’ve been at this spot so long. We don’t have a massive crew, just a few people who know the roads and the business. Getting things from one place to another sounds simple, but there is always something that comes up, like a flat tire or a blocked road. We just deal with those things as they happen and try to keep the wheels moving. If you walk past the stand, you’ll probably see us sorting through receipts or talking to a driver by the door. It’s a plain, honest way to make a living and we just keep at it every single day.
