Our branch is at 78 A, Delhi Gate in Nehru Bazar. It’s a very old part of the city and things are always moving fast around here. Associated Road Carriers Pvt Ltd has been in this spot for a long time. Even though the name sounds a bit official, our local office is quite humble. We deal with a lot of heavy loads and commercial goods that need to move across the country. The space at Delhi Gate is tight, so getting the bigger trucks in and out requires a bit of skill from our drivers. We have a small staff here who handle the billing and the bookings. It’s usually quite loud because of the market outside, but you get used to it. We don't really do much in the way of marketing. Most people find us because we’ve been here so long or they know someone who used us before. We spend a lot of time checking the weather reports and road closures because those things affect our schedule every day. It’s a lot of responsibility making sure someone’s goods are safe on the road for hundreds of kilometers. We just take it one day at a time. The office has seen better days, the paint is peeling a bit, but it’s where we do our work. We just focus on the logistics and making sure the drivers are okay while they travel between cities.
