J J Estate is located down in Karakonam, near the S O in Neyyattinkara. It’s a local place through and through. We don't have any branches in the big cities or anything like that. We just focus on what’s happening right here in our corner of Kerala. Most of the work involves helping families buy land or find a house nearby. It’s a small office with just the basics. We know the local land rules and who to talk to at the panchayat. Dealing with property here is a lot about who you know and being patient. We aren't fast-talking agents. We usually sit down with a tea and talk through everything slowly. Some days we are out in the sun looking at boundaries and other days we're stuck inside with the ledger. People know where to find us if they have a question about a plot. We don't do big advertisements in the newspapers. Usually, someone’s cousin told them to come talk to us. It’s a quiet way of doing business, but it has worked for us for years. We just try to be helpful and keep things moving. It’s practical, everyday work for the people in Neyyattinkara who need help with land and paperwork. We stay busy enough without needing to be loud about it.
