Si Property (Kerala)Pvt.Ltd. is located in Trivandrum at a place called Ushus, specifically TC-44/311. If you know the area, it’s a nice part of Kerala with plenty of trees and that fresh air you only get after a good rain. Our office is more like a converted house than a cold corporate suite. It has a bit of a homey feel, which is probably fitting since we deal with property. We spend most of our time looking at maps, deeds, and floor plans. The property market in Kerala can be quite a rollercoaster, so there’s always something to talk about over a glass of tea. We don't use much of that high-pressure sales talk you hear in the big cities. We prefer to just show people what’s available and let the land speak for itself. The office is usually quiet, except for the sound of the rain on the roof or the occasional phone call. We have a small staff who knows the local laws and the neighborhoods quite well. It’s a lot of legwork, visiting sites and checking on developments, so we aren't always sitting at our desks. When we are there, it’s mostly to catch up on paperwork and plan out the next few weeks. It’s a steady kind of work that requires a lot of patience and a good pair of walking shoes. We’ve been at this for a while and we’ve seen the city change quite a bit around us.
