Tjm Bricks

Our business is situated at number 35 in Parvathamalai, Polur. It is a beautiful area, but we don't spend much time looking at the scenery. Tjm Bricks is a small outfit. We focus on making bricks the old-fashioned way. The air in Polur is usually quite nice, but around our kilns, it’s a different story. It gets very hot and smoky when we are firing a batch. We have a few sheds and a lot of open space for drying. It’s a simple setup. We don't have any secretaries or sales teams. If the phone rings, one of us wipes our hands on our trousers and picks it up. We have been in Parvathamalai for a few years now. The locals know where to find us. We don't do much in the way of promotion. If our bricks are good, people tell their neighbors, and that’s how we stay in business. Sometimes we run out of stock during the peak building season, and we just have to tell people to wait. We don't like to rush things because then the bricks might crack. It is a lot of waiting on the sun and the fire. We are just honest workers trying to make a living in Polur. It’s hard on the hands and the back, but it is what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and keep the kiln going every single day.
