Svd Earth Movers

Our yard is right on 12A, Salem Main Road in the Chengam area. Most people around here know the spot because of the big yellow machines we keep parked out front near the road. Svd Earth Movers isn't a big corporation or anything like that. It is just a few of us here keeping the equipment running and making sure everything is ready when a job comes up. The main road stays busy all day long with traffic going through Chengam. We spend a lot of our time cleaning heavy dirt off the tracks and checking the oil levels. It is hard work and the hours can get long, especially when the weather decides to be tough on us. We do not have a fancy office with air conditioning or a waiting room. Usually, we are just standing around the machines or sitting on plastic chairs in the small shed out back. You can hear the engines from the main road when we start them up first thing in the morning. Being at 12A means we see a lot of people passing by every single day. We have been part of the community here for some time now. We are not interested in big speeches about what we do. We just know how to handle the earth and move the dirt to where it needs to go. Sometimes the yard gets a bit disorganized when we have several projects going at once, but we manage.
