We are located right opposite the Vattamkulam Panchayat office in Edappal. It’s a convenient spot because everyone knows where the Panchayat is. We are a small group of people working on software stuff. It’s mostly computer work, so there is a lot of typing and staring at screens throughout the day. The office is pretty quiet, except for the sound of the keyboards and the occasional car horn from the street outside. We handle things for local businesses, like helping them with their computer systems or setting up simple programs they need. We don't have a big corporate office; it’s just a few rooms with desks and some old chairs. We usually have a pot of coffee or tea going in the corner. Sometimes people walk in thinking we are part of the government office across the road, and we have to point them in the right direction. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just practical coding and tech support for the people around here. The power goes out sometimes, so we have a backup to keep the computers running. We stay pretty late most nights because that is when it’s quietest to get the work finished. It’s a decent way to earn a living, and we like being in this part of town. There is a small bakery nearby where we get our snacks, and the owner knows us well by now.
