Victory Hollow Bricks

Our place, Victory Hollow Bricks, is at number 45 in Mannapuram. It is a decent-sized yard where we make the hollow bricks. They are heavy things to move around, so we spend a lot of the day lifting and stacking. The Mannapuram area is mostly quiet, which is nice for working. We have a couple of machines that make a fair bit of noise, but the neighbors don't seem to mind. The ground is usually covered in sand and cement dust. We have a small area with a tin roof where we can get out of the rain or the sun for a bit. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a polished office. We just have the basics to get the job done. My cousin helps me with the mixing and the deliveries. We usually have a truck coming in once or twice a day to pick up a load. When the weather is dry, we can get a lot more done. We don't have any big mission or anything, we just want to finish the day’s work and head home. Most people around here just call us by name when they walk past. Being at 45 Mannapuram has worked out okay for us over the years. We just keep making the bricks and keeping the yard organized as best as two people can without any extra help or fancy tools.
