You can find Smk Hollow Blocks over at Chinnayyan Kovil Pirivu, right on Somanur Road in Kaaranam Pettai. It’s a pretty easy spot to locate if you are driving through the area. We have our yard set up there with rows of hollow blocks taking up most of the space. It’s a noisy place when the production is going, with the vibration of the machines and the sound of the mix being poured. We spend most of our daylight hours out there moving pallets around. It’s a lot of physical labor, and we aren't afraid to get our hands dirty. The location on Somanur Road works well for us because trucks can pull in and out without too much trouble. We don't have any big corporate slogans or a polished front desk. It's just us and the blocks. We try to keep up with the demand from the local construction going on nearby. Some days we are ahead, and other days we are struggling to keep the stacks high. We’ve been in Kaaranam Pettai for a while now and have become a regular part of the scenery. It’s a simple life, focused on making sure the blocks are solid and ready to go. We don't spend money on fancy signs. People usually just see the blocks and know what we do. It’s a basic operation but it keeps us busy from morning until sunset. We just take it one load at a time.
