Ks Hollow Blocks

Located at No:37/1 on Anaimalai Road, Ks Hollow Blocks is pretty much a staple in Modakkuppatty Village. We are right on the way out of Udumalaipettai, so we get a lot of people passing by on their way to the farms or the hills. The yard is open to the air, which is good for the workers but can be tough when the sun is beating down in the afternoon. We make our blocks the old-fashioned way, using the space we have to let them cure properly before they are sold. There isn't much in the way of a front office. Usually, if you want to talk to us, you just walk up to the shed or find someone near the stacks. We’ve got a tractor that we use for moving things around, and the sound of it is pretty common around here. Modakkuppatty is a quiet village for the most part, but we keep our corner of it busy with the sound of the mixer and the clinking of finished blocks being moved. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs. The address on Anaimalai Road is enough for people to find us. It’s a humble setup, but it works for us and the people who buy from us. Every day is about the same routine of mixing, pouring, and stacking, and we are fine with that. It’s steady work that keeps us going through the seasons.
