S. M. Associatess

S. M. Associatess is situated over on Avinashi Road. We are at number 6, Gandhi Nagar, 4th Street. Being near Avinashi Road means we are close to the main action, but our street is a little bit set back from the heaviest traffic. Our office is a straightforward place. We have a small sign out front and a few rooms inside where the work happens. Most days are spent handling paperwork and talking on the phone with various people. It’s a small group of us here. We’ve been in Gandhi Nagar for a good amount of time, so we know the other business owners on the street. The office itself has a lot of old wooden furniture and stacks of files that seem to grow every month. We try to keep it tidy, but that doesn't always happen when things get busy. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background. It helps the day go by. We don’t have a big reception area or anyone to open the door for you. You just walk in and someone will be there to help. We take our work seriously, but the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don't use a lot of fancy technology, just the stuff that works. It’s a simple setup that has worked for us for a long time. We like the neighborhood and the way the afternoon sun hits the front of the building.
