Elegant Architects

If you’re driving down A V P Layout 1st Street in Gandhinagar, you’ll probably see the Essar Petrol Bunk. We are right near there, on the first floor of number 14/14. Elegant Architects is just a small office where we spend a lot of time bent over drafting tables or looking at computer screens. Tirupur is a busy place, but up here on the first floor, it’s a bit more relaxed, though you can still hear the bikes and cars outside. We do the drawings and the plans that people need before they start building. It’s a lot of lines and numbers, really. Sometimes people come in with just a rough idea in their head, and we have to try and put that onto paper. We don't have any fancy brochures or a secretary to greet you. Usually, you just walk up the stairs and find one of us working. It’s a bit of a climb, but it’s good for the legs. We’ve been in this layout for a while and we’ve seen a lot of new buildings go up in the 641603 area. We just focus on the technical side of things and try to make sure everything is legal and safe. It’s practical work for people who want to build something solid. We keep our coffee mugs on our desks and our files in big stacks, just like any other local office. We might not be the fastest at answering the door if we're busy drawing, but we always get there eventually.
