Karthick Cement

You will find us at 32, Vellakoil. It is a straightforward place. We handle cement all day long and that is about the size of it. Karthick Cement isn't one of those big corporate offices with glass walls. It is more of a yard and a small room where we keep the books. The sun gets pretty hot out here in Vellakoil, and working with those heavy bags is honest work that leaves you tired by the evening. We have a few guys who help with the loading. Sometimes the trucks come in late and we have to wait around drinking coffee. It is quiet here some days, and other days it feels like everyone is building something at the same time. We don't really do much advertising because people around here already know where we are. We just focus on keeping the stock levels right so we don't run out when someone needs a few bags for a patch job. The floor is usually covered in a thin layer of grey dust, which is just part of the job. We have been at this address for a good bit of time now. We know the neighbors and the local drivers pretty well. It’s a simple life. We wake up, come to the shop, move some cement, and go home. Not much more to say about it than that. I think the key is just being there when the builders show up.
