Our salon is located on Karamadai Road in Mettupalayam, right above the IDBI Bank in Sudanthirapuram. If you are coming from the main road, you just look for the bank and then head upstairs to find us. It’s a unisex place, so we see all sorts of people coming in for haircuts or to get their hair colored. Coimbatore weather can be quite something, so we keep the place as cool as we can for everyone who stops by. We’ve been here at No 5/666 C 1 for a while now. The staff mostly just gets on with the work, whether it’s a quick trim or something that takes a couple of hours. We don’t really do anything flashy. It’s just a regular shop where you can sit down and get your hair looked after. Being on the first floor means we can see the street below, which is usually quite busy with people heading to the bank or driving toward the main center. We have a few chairs set up and some mirrors, and that is about it. Most of the people who come here are locals from around the Mettupalayam area. They know where we are and how we work. We just try to keep things moving and make sure everyone gets their turn without waiting too long. It’s a practical setup for a practical town, and we’re happy to be here doing this work every day.
