Our spot is at 156 Trichy Road in Sulur. If you know where the TVS showroom is, we are right near there. It’s a good location because people can drop their bikes for service and then come over to us. The road is always moving with traffic going toward Coimbatore. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular storefront with a glass door. Inside, we have the usual setup. A couple of chairs, some mirrors, and a shelf for the combs and scissors. We don’t spend money on fancy marketing or big ads. People just find us because they live nearby or work at the shops on Trichy Road. The floor is a dark color which helps hide the hair until we can sweep it up. Sometimes we have tea delivered from the stall down the street. It’s a small routine we have. We open up the shutters around nine and stay until the evening. The mirrors have a few spots on the edges where the silvering is coming off, but they still work. We focus on being a place where a guy can get a haircut without any fuss. It’s just us doing our thing day after day. The neighborhood is friendly enough, and we know most of the shop owners who work around this area.
