Fidus Exports

Fidus Exports is located at No. 59A Amman Koil West 2nd Street in Samundipuram. We are quite close to the Gandhi Nagar Post Office, which is handy for all the documents we have to send. Our office handles the export of various goods, so we spend most of our time talking to suppliers and checking on shipping schedules. It’s a plain workspace with just a few desks and many stacks of folders and files. Every morning, we can hear the bells from the Amman Koil temple, which is a nice part of working in this area. We have to be very careful about checking the quality of everything before it goes into a container for shipping. If we miss a small mistake, it causes a big problem later on at the port. My family has been in Samundipuram for generations, so we know most of the local truck drivers and transporters quite well. The street is a bit narrow, so things can get stuck if a big lorry tries to come through at the wrong time. We are just a small team trying to keep up with all the rules for sending things abroad. It is hard work and involves a lot of waiting around for emails, but it feels good when a shipment finally gets on its way. We don't have any polished marketing; we just focus on getting the crates moved.
