Sri Esteem Exports

You can find us over at 7/1B Kumaranantha Puram, right on Pitchampalayam Road. We’re pretty easy to spot because we are right near the Sivan Theatre. On days when a big movie is playing, the whole street is packed and it’s a bit of a challenge to get our goods moved out, but we manage somehow. The theater is a good landmark for people who haven't been to this part of town before. We do a lot of export work here, so there’s always boxes being taped up and labels being printed. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic and the theater crowds, but you get used to the rhythm of it after a few weeks. The staff here at Sri Esteem Exports is mostly local folks from the neighborhood. We take our breaks together and usually talk about the local news or whatever is happening at the Sivan Theatre that week. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where we can get our packing and sorting done. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If someone comes by, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see what they need. It’s a very hands-on way of doing things, but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and try to keep the flow of exports moving steadily throughout the year, regardless of what's playing on the big screen next door.
