Pranissh Inc. is tucked away at No. 36/53 on N. M. S. Lane. We’re actually at the back side of the Valliammal Compound. It’s a bit of a hidden spot if you don’t know where you’re looking. Being off the main road makes it a bit quieter for us, which helps when we need to concentrate. Our workshop isn't very big. We have benches set up along the walls and a few chairs for when we need to take a break. It’s a humble setup, but it serves us well. We’ve spent many years in this compound. You get to know the other people working in the nearby units. We share a bit of small talk when we’re out getting water or moving supplies. The lane is narrow, so we don’t get a lot of big trucks coming through. Mostly just people on foot or bikes. We don't put on any airs here. We wear regular clothes and get our hands dirty when the job calls for it. Sometimes the power flickers, but we’ve got backups for that. It’s just the reality of working in an older area. We take things one day at a time. If a project takes longer than expected, we just stay until it’s finished. There’s a sense of pride in just doing the work and not making a big fuss about it. We’ve been here a long time and the address feels like home now.
