Modalsoft

Modalsoft is over at No 1 Padmavathipuram 5th Street, near the Gandhi Nagar Post office. It is a quiet residential-style street, so it does not feel like a big business district. We like it that way because it is easier to focus on the software and data work we do. Our office is just a simple room with some good computers and a lot of cables. We have been here long enough that the postman knows us by name. We do not really do much in the way of big marketing. Mostly, we just work on the projects that come our way from local clients or people who heard about us from a friend. It is a small team, usually just a couple of us sitting at our desks for most of the day. The building is nothing special, just a regular place in a regular neighborhood. We have our routines, starting early and staying until the work is finished. Sometimes we are here late when a deadline is close, but that is just the nature of what we do. We try to keep our overhead low so we do not have to charge people a fortune. It is a practical approach to running a small software business. We are not trying to change the world, just trying to do a decent job for the people who hire us. It keeps us busy and keeps the lights on. That is enough for us at the end of the day.
