Tniamp Gadana Organic Farmers Producer Company Limited is basically a group of local farmers trying to make things work together. Our office is a simple room where we meet up to talk about the crops and the prices. It’s not like a city office with air conditioning and fancy chairs. We usually have some dust on our shoes because we’ve come straight from the fields. The Pappakudi Taluk is where we all live and grow our stuff. Being a producer company means we spend a lot of time discussing how to get our organic produce to people who want it. There’s a lot of talk about rain, soil, and which seeds are doing okay this year. We don’t have a website guy or a PR team. We just have our names on the door and a phone that rings too much. It’s hard work being a farmer, and even harder to run a company on top of it. But we know each other well since we’re all neighbors. We meet at the South Car Street address to sign papers or just to figure out the next harvest. It’s just plain, local business done by people who work the land every single day. We don't use big words, we just do what needs doing to keep the farm going.
