Dayananda Agri Farm

Dayananda Agri Farm is located at 17-St. in the Xavier Shopping Complex over in Palayamkottai. It’s a bit different being in a shopping complex rather than out on a literal farm, but it makes us easy to visit for anyone who happens to be in town. We have a shop space where we keep all our agricultural supplies and products for sale. It can get pretty crowded inside with bags of seeds and various tools stacked along the aisles and near the door. We don't have a lot of room for wandering around, but we make the most of what we have in this unit. Palayamkottai is a lively area, so there is always someone popping in to ask a question or pick up something they forgot for their garden. We are just a small team of three or four people usually. We don't wear uniforms or have a big reception desk to greet people. We just stand behind the counter and help whoever walks through the door looking for supplies. Sometimes the air conditioning in the complex struggles during the peak of summer, so it gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we just keep the door open and keep working. We’ve been at this 17-St. spot for a good while now, and we’ve gotten to know most of the regular farmers who come through. It is a straightforward business, no frills or complicated systems. We just stock what people need.
