The Vayal Exim

The Vayal Exim is based at 69, V.V.K. Street. It is a narrow street and sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time turning the corner. Our office is small and a bit crowded with boxes and files. We handle a lot of the paperwork for moving goods around, but we aren't a big corporate firm. It’s just a few of us sitting at our desks, making calls and sending out emails. The walls are decorated with some old maps and a calendar that someone forgot to flip to the current month. We have a small window that doesn't let in much light, so we keep the overhead lamps on all day. V.V.K. Street is a busy little place with a lot of small shops and people selling things on the sidewalk. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. Most days we just wear what is comfortable and get to work. The tea lady comes by twice a day, which is the highlight of the afternoon. We try to keep things organized, but in a small space like this, things tend to get messy pretty fast. It’s a local operation and we like the familiar faces we see every day. We just focus on getting our work done and making sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. It keeps us busy and the days go by fast.
