T M R Travels

Our place is at 62A in the T.M. Building, which is part of the Saraswathi Lodge. If you are near Vasantham Hotel in the Tirunelveli Junction area, you are very close to us. It is a handy spot because people staying at the lodge often need a way to get around or a ticket to their next stop. The office is not very large, but we have exactly what we need to get the job done. We have a couple of desks, some chairs for the customers, and the usual piles of paperwork on the side. We deal with all sorts of travel requests. Some people want to go long distances across the state, and others just need a quick local ride. We spend a lot of time checking different routes and making sure the timings actually work out for the passengers. The junction is a busy place, so there is always someone coming in with a random question about travel. We do not try to be anything we are not. It is just a local travel shop. I usually have a cup of tea in the afternoon from the small stall nearby while I work on the bookings. It is a lot of sitting and typing, but it keeps us busy. We know the local area very well since we have been here so long. When you come in, you might have to wait a minute if we are on the phone, but we will get to you eventually.
