Sri Anjaneyar Traders

Our shop is at 11/75 in S.N. Puram. We’re part of the Perumanal area in Radhapuram Taluk. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren’t from around these parts. The building is simple, just a roof and some walls to keep the rain off the stock. We handle a lot of different things, mostly stuff that the local folks need for their daily work. It’s a rural spot, so things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We don’t have any fancy signage or neon lights. People just know us by name. Most of our day is spent moving bags and checking the tallies. It gets very hot in the middle of the day, so we usually take a break when the sun is highest. We know almost everyone who walks through the door. It’s the kind of place where you hear all the local news before it even happens. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure we have what people are looking for when they come in. The shelves are a bit dusty, and the floor is just swept dirt in some parts. It’s an honest way to make a living. We’ve been here for years and we’ll probably be here for many more. It’s just us, doing what we do.
