Our office is inside the Saraswathi Lodging building, specifically where the Taj Hotel is located on the first floor. It is right in the heart of Tirunelveli Junction. Being on the first floor of a lodging house means we see a lot of travelers who are just passing through the city. They might need a ticket to their next destination or a car to take them to a nearby town or a temple. We have set up our desks here and we spend the day handling these various requests. It can get pretty hectic because the junction area is always moving, and people are often in a big hurry. We do not have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just show up in the morning, open the doors, and start booking. The office is a little bit old-fashioned, but it works perfectly for what we do. There are usually a few maps or some old calendars hanging on the wall. We talk to bus operators and other agencies over the phone to get things sorted. Sometimes we have to stay a bit late if someone has a travel emergency they need help with. That is just part of the daily job for us. Most people who come here are looking for a simple answer about a bus or a train. We do our best to give them that information without any fuss.
