Rpr Travels

Rpr Travels is up on the first floor of the No 26 Old Bus Stand Extension Complex. We are right on Madurai Road, directly opposite the Malai Murasu office. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a view of the old bus stand, which is always a mess of people and vehicles. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep and can be tiring when you do it ten times a day. Inside, we have a few desks pushed together and a lot of old files stacked in the corner. The Malai Murasu building across the way is a good landmark for people who are looking for us for the first time. It gets very hot up here because we are under the roof, so the fans are always on high, blowing the papers around. We usually have a lot of people coming in to ask about routes or to book a seat for the night buses. It’s a noisy place because of the bus stand right there, with horns honking and conductors yelling all day long. We don't have a fancy waiting lounge, just some basic seating in the hallway. Our windows stay open to let the air in, even if it brings in all the city noise. It’s a busy life here in the complex, and we just keep up with the daily routine of bookings and phone calls.
