Planning & Billing Enggineer

Our office is at 1/24 Sannathi Street in Melapattam, which is in the Tirunelveli district. We work on planning and billing engineering. This basically means we spend our days dealing with a lot of numbers and paperwork for various construction projects. It’s not the most exciting job in the world, but it is very important to keep the projects on track financially. Sannathi Street is a local road and we have been at this address for a long time. We aren't a big company with lots of departments. It’s just a small office with some desks and a couple of computers. We spend our mornings going through invoices and our afternoons talking to contractors on the phone. Sometimes we have to go out to the sites in Tirunelveli to check the progress against the bills we are writing. It’s a lot of detail-oriented work and we have to be careful not to make mistakes with the math. We don't use any fancy corporate talk. We just do the billing and the planning work as it comes in. Most of the people we work with are local builders who have known us for years. We keep things simple and just try to stay on top of the pile of papers on our desks. It’s a steady, everyday kind of business for us here. We keep a calculator on every desk just in case.
