Om Sakthi Cabs

We are tucked away at No 5/6 on 8th Street in the Gandhi Nagar area of Palayamkottai. It is a bit quieter back here than on the main roads. We are in Samathanapuram, quite close to the State Bank of Travancore. Having the bank nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. Om Sakthi Cabs is run from this local office. It is basically just a few rooms where we keep our records and wait for the phones to ring. We spend a lot of time checking the vehicles and talking to the drivers about their routes. Because we are on 8th Street, we do not get as much of the heavy dust from the main road, which is nice. We are just a regular group of people working together. There is nothing polished or corporate about how we do things. We use old-fashioned notebooks alongside our phones to keep track of everything. Sometimes the dog from the next house over comes and sits by our door. It is that kind of neighborhood. We have been here for some years now and the local people know us. We do not put up big flashy signs or do much advertising. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and start the day's work. It is a steady routine that keeps us busy from morning until late at night for our customers.
