Msp Travels

You have to come up to the first floor of the Old Bus Stand Building to find Msp Travels. We are located right above Shanthi Sweets. Often, the smell of the sweets being made downstairs comes up the stairs, which is nice but it definitely makes me hungry during the middle of the day. This building has been here for ages, and you can see it in the walls and the old staircase. We have been running our business from this spot in Tirunelveli Junction for quite some time now. Most of our day is spent talking to people who are catching buses or need to hire a car for a family trip. It is a bit of a climb up those stairs, but once you are inside, it is a relatively quiet place to sit and talk about your travel plans. We have a couple of computers and some big ledgers we use to keep track of everything. The bus stand is right there outside, so there are always people running around and a lot of shouting from the conductors. We see many regular faces, folks who travel for business every week or go to see family in the nearby villages. We do not have any big corporate talk or polished speeches here. It is just us helping you get a ticket or find a reliable vehicle. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait it out. It is a straightforward, local business.
