Kasi Vilas Hotel

Kasi Vilas Hotel is located right in the heart of Tirunelveli Town on Sathyamoorthy Street. We are very close to the Pothys car parking area, so there are always people walking around and plenty of noise from the shoppers. Tirunelveli is a place with a lot of history, and we’ve been part of this street for quite some time. We aren’t one of those big modern hotels with glass walls. Our building is older and has a lot of character, even if the walls could use a new coat of paint every now and then. We mostly serve local food to the people who are out doing their shopping or working in the town. The lunch hour is usually a bit of a mess with everyone trying to get a seat at once, but we manage to get everyone fed. We have a few staff members who have been with us since they were young men. It feels more like a big family than a business most days. We get a lot of regulars who come in every single day for their morning coffee or a meal. Sometimes the traffic on Sathyamoorthy Street gets so backed up that it’s hard to even cross the road, but that’s just life in the town. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. We just provide a place to sit and eat or stay the night if you’re visiting from out of town. It’s honest work.
