Hotel Thamilachi

Hotel Thamilachi is located at No 55, right on the NH7 Fourway Track along the Gangaikondan Tirunelveli Madurai Main Road. We’re near the 627001 area, not far from Rajapudhukudi. Being on such a major highway means we see a lot of truckers and families driving between cities. It’s a big, wide road, and the cars go by pretty fast, so we have a large sign out front so people don't miss us. Our day usually involves a lot of outdoor work, like keeping the parking area clear and making sure the entrance is clean. We have a few rooms for travelers who are too tired to keep driving at night. It’s a simple setup, nothing too grand. Most of the time, we’re busy in the back handling the laundry or fixing things around the property. The wind can get quite strong out here by the highway, which blows a lot of sand around. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done. We don't have a fancy website or any of that, we just rely on people seeing us from the road. It can be a bit lonely out here sometimes compared to the city, but we like the space. We’re just a small team trying to provide a decent place for people to rest their eyes before they get back on the road the next morning.
