You can find us at No 1 Salai Street in Vannarpettai, right across the road from Chennai Silks. Being in Tirunelveli, we are used to the heat and the busy crowds that come to this part of town for shopping. Chennai Buhari Hotel has been here for a bit, and we have become a landmark for people who are tired after walking through the silk shops. It’s a straightforward hotel and eatery. We don't have a lot of polished furniture or high-end decor. The fans are always spinning and the kitchen is always busy. We focus on getting the orders out and keeping the place tidy. It’s a lot of pressure during the festival seasons when Vannarpettai is packed with people. We have a small team, and everyone knows their job. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when it’s very busy, but we always sort it out. We don't spend money on big ads because we think being opposite a place like Chennai Silks is enough for people to see us. We just serve what we have and try to be honest about it. It’s a practical way to run a business. Most of the people who come in are locals or travelers passing through the Salai Street area. We just keep the doors open and keep the stoves burning until the last customer leaves.
