Esevai Farmer Producer Company Limited is a local group we started right here in Veerakeralampudur Taluk. We operate out of 4/212 Main Road, which is under the care of R. Subbulakshmi. Being a farmer producer company means we are mostly made up of people from around here who are actually out in the fields. It’s not a fancy corporate setup. We mostly use the space for meetings and keeping our records straight. The office is right on the main road, so it’s easy for the members to stop by after they’re done with their daily work. We don't have a big staff or anyone in suits. It’s usually just a few of us sitting around a table talking about crop prices or how to get better seeds. We don't go in for big marketing speeches or anything like that. We just want to help the farmers in our taluk get a fair deal for what they grow. Sometimes it’s a struggle with the weather or the market, but having the company helps us stay organized. It’s a humble place, just a simple building with what we need to get by. We’re proud of being from this part of the country and we try to do right by our neighbors. Most people around here know where to find us if they have a question or need some help with their paperwork. It’s just how things work in a small community like ours.
