Our place is tucked away on Yadhava Street, right near the government school. You can usually hear the kids playing during recess while we are working inside. We handle a lot of food products here, mostly grains and things that come in from the nearby farms. It’s a bit of a noisy operation sometimes because of the machinery we use to clean and pack everything. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we get the job done. We spend most of our day weighing bags and checking the quality of what comes in. If the weather is bad, things slow down a bit because the trucks have a hard time on the narrow road. We’ve been at this address, 3/1079, for a few years now, and the neighbors are used to the smell of the grain. Sometimes we have to move stuff out onto the street when we get a big shipment. It's a lot of physical work, lifting heavy sacks and making sure everything is stored dry. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to keep the local supply steady. Every evening we sweep up the spilled husks and get ready for the next morning. It’s a simple routine, but it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. We mostly deal with people we've known for years, so it feels like a small community effort.
