Draughtsman

We are located at 3-5No Rth in the village of Villagam Kunnathoor. This is in the Tirunelveli area of Tamilnadu. The office is really just a small room where we handle our draughtsman duties. It is a very rural spot, so it is quiet most of the time, except for the birds or the occasional motorbike passing by on the road. We do not have a fancy setup with air conditioning or modern furniture. It is just a sturdy table, some good lighting, and our drawing tools. Kunnathoor is a small place, so everyone knows where everything is. We have lived and worked here for a long time. When someone needs a plan drawn up, they just walk over to the house. We sit down, maybe have some water, and talk about what they need. It is a very slow and personal way of doing things. We do not have a big corporate office or a boss in another city. It is just us here in the village. The papers we use are large and sometimes they get a bit yellowed at the edges if we keep them too long in the cupboard, but they are still good for the work. Tirunelveli can be very hot, so we usually start our work early in the morning before the sun gets too high. By the afternoon, we are usually just finishing up and tidying the desk for the next day. It is a simple life and a simple business, but it suits us just fine.
