Bala Travels

We are located on the first floor of the Star Building, which is No 25/2 in Koolakadai Bazaar. It’s right in the middle of Tirunelveli Town, not far from the Joy Alukkas on West Car Street. It’s a lively part of town to work in every day. Bala Travels has been here for a while now, and we’ve seen the bazaar change quite a bit over the years as new shops open and close. Getting up to the first floor is easy enough, and once you’re here, you’ll usually find one of us sorting out the day’s bookings or talking on the phone. We mostly deal with local car rentals and small tours for families. It’s not a huge operation, but we stay pretty busy most days of the week. The noise from the bazaar downstairs can be a bit loud sometimes, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don't have a big shiny storefront, just a simple office where we keep our logs and take calls from people. Most people find us because they’re already shopping in the bazaar and need a way to get their bags home, or they’re planning a trip and want to talk to someone in person. We try to be helpful and give people a fair price for their journey without any hidden costs. It’s about being a part of the local community. We know many of our customers by name since they’ve been using our services for years. It’s just us doing our part for the neighborhood.
