Anjana Cabs

Anjana Cabs is located at No 75 Balaji Mansion on Madurai Road. We are right in the Tirunelveli Junction area, very close to Arasan Bakery. You can usually smell the fresh bread and tea from the bakery in the mornings, which is nice. Our office is a small room in the mansion building, and we have a lot of keys and clipboards hanging on the wall. The drivers usually park the cars nearby and wait for the phone to ring. We spend a lot of time talking to people who are just coming off the trains and need a way to get home or to the next town. The Balaji Mansion is an old building, so it has a lot of character, but the hallways are a bit dark. We have a small table where we keep our logbooks and a few pens that always seem to run out of ink. It’s a busy spot because Madurai Road is one of the main ways through town. We see all kinds of people every day, from students to families. Sometimes we just sit outside on the steps and watch the people going into the bakery while we wait for the next call. It isn't a high-tech operation, just some people and some cars trying to make a living in the city. The traffic is usually pretty heavy, but that’s just life in Tirunelveli for us.
