You can find us over at No 112 C Shanmuga Vilas on 5th Cross Street. We are right in Thillai Nagar, which is usually a busy part of Trichy. If you're looking for the place, we're directly opposite the Siddi Vinayagar Temple. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows it. Trichy Plus and the Gate Forum share this space. It's basically a house that we converted into an office and classroom area. There are several rooms where different groups meet. Sometimes the street gets a bit packed with bikes, especially during the festival times at the temple. We’ve been operating here for quite some time now. We don't have a big reception desk or anything formal. Usually, you just walk in and someone will be there to talk to you. The atmosphere is quite relaxed. We drink a lot of coffee while working through materials. Sometimes it gets a bit warm in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. It’s a practical setup for the students who come here for the U2Can programs. We try to keep the place organized, but with so many papers and books around, it can look a bit cluttered. Most people find us through word of mouth. We just focus on getting the daily tasks done and helping whoever walks through the door. The walls are painted a simple off-white that’s seen better days. We have a few old fans that creak a bit when they're on high speed. During the rainy season, the sound of the water on the roof is quite loud. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one near the gate. It’s a very local life here in Thillai Nagar.
