Kalai Home Tuition

Our spot at No 45 A on Dakkar Road is right in the middle of Woriyur. It is a part of Trichy that feels very local and lived-in. We are quite close to the Lakshmi Gas Agency, which is what we tell people when they are looking for the house. Kalai Home Tuition is a small operation. Most of the time, it is just sitting around a wooden table in a room that stays relatively cool. Woriyur can get very hot, so having a bit of shade from the nearby trees helps. We do not have a big office or a staff. It is more of a personal thing where we sit down with the kids and go over their school work. The street outside can be a bit noisy with scooters and the gas delivery trucks, but it is just part of the daily life here. We have a couple of chairs that have seen better days but they are still sturdy enough. The walls are mostly bare except for maybe a calendar or a small clock. We focus on the textbooks they bring from school. It is honest work and we have been doing it right here on Dakkar Road for quite some time. The neighbors stop by to chat sometimes. It is a relaxed place where the goal is just to get the homework done and understand the basics. We just take it one lesson at a time.
