Our place is located on Kenndy Street in Ranjithapuram, which is quite close to the TVS Tolgate here in Trichy. Kalai Tutorial started because there was a need for extra help with school subjects in this part of town. We handle things two ways. Some students come to our small center here at No 16, and for others, we send someone to their house. It depends on what the family prefers and what fits the schedule. Subramaniapuram is a busy area, so having the option for home tuition saves people a lot of travel time. The rooms at our center are simple. We have enough tables and chairs for a few groups at a time. It’s not a huge operation. We just focus on the lessons and making sure the kids understand their homework. Sometimes the street outside gets a bit noisy with the bikes passing by, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don’t do big advertisements or anything. Most people find us because they live in the neighborhood or heard about us from a neighbor. We keep our notes organized and try to stay on top of the school syllabus. It’s mostly just hard work and showing up every day. We’ve been at this address for a bit now, and we know the local families pretty well.
