Sowmya Structural Consultants

We've been over here at 92, Rama Nagar for a while now. It's just a small office where we handle structural drawings and calculations. Most days involve looking at blue prints and making sure the columns and beams are where they need to be. Sowmya Structural Consultants isn't a big firm with fancy lobbies. It’s mostly just us sitting at our desks, working through the math for local building projects. People around Rama Nagar know where to find us if they have a question about a house extension or a new build. We try to get things done right the first time so there aren't issues later on during construction. It gets busy, especially when several projects come in at once. We use standard software, but a lot of it is just common sense and experience with the local ground conditions. Sometimes the site visits take longer than expected because traffic is a mess, but that's just part of it. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most folks just hear about us from a neighbor or a contractor they're already working with. We keep our files organized, mostly, and make sure the site supervisors have what they need to stay on track. If you walk past Rama Nagar, you’ll see our sign. It's a straightforward operation here. Nothing too complicated, just solid work on the structures we get asked to look at. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years and we just keep doing our thing.
