S.M. Engineering

If you are looking for S.M. Engineering, we are at No: 4/791, A2 on 6th Street in Baradhi Dasan Nagar. It’s over in North Kattur. We’ve been set up here for some time now, just doing engineering jobs and repair work. The street is usually pretty quiet compared to the main roads, which is nice when we are trying to focus on a tricky part. It’s not a huge workshop, just a decent space with our machines and tools spread out where they fit. We handle a lot of small and medium engineering tasks. A lot of the time, it’s just us working through a pile of drawings or fixing something that a customer brought in because it stopped working. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in North Kattur, we just want to do the job right so it doesn't come back. The shop can get a bit messy during the day with metal scraps and oil, but we try to clear it out when we can. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. Most of the people who come here are locals or small businesses from around the city who know we’ve been here a while. It’s just a straightforward engineering shop. We start early and stay until the work is finished. It’s nothing fancy, just a few guys who know how to work the machines and get things built to the right size without any fuss.
