Site Engineer

Our place is in Trichy, over in the Thuvakudimalai area. Specifically, we are on Maniammai Nager. Parthiban N is the name you’ll hear if you ask around the neighborhood. Trichy is a hot place, and being near the hill doesn't always make it cooler. We work as site engineers, which means our office is basically wherever the construction is happening at the moment. We do have a spot in Maniammai Nager where we keep all the technical drawings and the equipment. The pin code is 620022. It’s a decent area, mostly families and people working at the nearby industries. We aren't a big firm with lots of staff. It is mostly just us handling the day-to-day problems that pop up on a building site. You know how it is—something always goes wrong with the plumbing or the levels are off by an inch. We spend a lot of time walking on rebar and talking to the masons. People in Trichy expect things to be done a certain way, and we try to stick to those local standards. It’s not about being fancy; it’s about making sure the lintels are strong and the staircase isn't too steep. We get our coffee at the local stall and then head out to the site. That is how most days go for us. It is a steady life and we like being part of the growth here in this part of town.
