Ravikumar

Down in Srirangam, things move a bit slower than in the big cities, and that is exactly how I like it. My name is Ravikumar and I work out of A4F in the Utthalaxmi Apartments. This area, Raghavendrapuram, is quite peaceful, and being in Trichy gives you a sense of history that you don't find in many other places. My apartment serves as my main office, and I have dedicated a large room just for my equipment and files. It is a short walk from the temple, so you can always feel that spiritual energy in the air. I have been in this part of Tamil Nadu for most of my life, so I know the local ways of doing things. I don’t believe in rushing through projects just to get them finished. I would rather take my time and make sure everything is correct. My neighbors in the building are friendly, and we often share news over the balcony railings. It is the kind of place where people still look out for each other. I keep my work life fairly private, but the locals know who I am and what I do. It is a quiet, honest way to make a living, and being in such a beautiful part of India makes the work feel a lot less like a chore. I just try to stay consistent and do my part.
