Kathy Systems

Kathy Systems is located at 65 Highways Colony in Subramaniyapuram. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood compared to the main roads. We mostly deal with computer systems and networking. The room is filled with old monitors, cables, and parts we’ve taken out of machines over the years. We didn’t really plan to have so much clutter but it happens when you fix things. Someone brings in a laptop that won't turn on and we take it apart to see what’s wrong. It’s a lot of sitting and looking at small screws. Sometimes we go out to other offices to set up their internet or fix their servers. Those are long days because nothing ever works the first time you plug it in. We aren't a big corporation with uniforms. We just wear what's comfortable for crawling under desks. Most people in the colony know us as the guys who handle the tech stuff. It’s not always exciting but it pays the bills. We drink a lot of coffee while waiting for software to install. The shelves are a bit dusty and the chairs aren't the best for your back. We try to be honest about what can be fixed and what is just trash. People seem to appreciate that. We’ve been at this address for a while now and don't plan on moving. It’s a simple shop and we like it that way.
