R Jeevananthan

I am R Jeevananthan, the son of G. Ramasamy. I work out of my place at 250 Mariyamman Koil Street. This is in the Thuraimangalam area of Perambalur district, Tamil Nadu. The pin code here is 621212. I’ve lived in this house and worked in this neighborhood for most of my life. It’s a very traditional street, especially with the Mariyamman temple right there. People know me and they knew my father too. I don't have a big staff or a fancy brand name. It’s just me and the work I do every day. The shop is part of the house, which makes it easy to stay busy. It’s not a corporate environment at all. You’ll probably hear the sounds of the street and the temple bells while we talk. I handle things one by one as they come in. Sometimes I’m out in the field, so the door might be locked for an hour, but I’m always around eventually. I don't use much marketing. Word of mouth in Perambalur is enough for me. I try to be fair and do a solid job so people don't have a reason to complain. It’s a simple life, and the business reflects that.
