Green Farm Trades

Green Farm Trades is located out in Sadayapalayam, specifically in the Marudhuriyanvalasu area. It is a bit of a drive from the main town, but that is where all the farming happens, so it makes sense for us to be here. The air is a bit cleaner out this way, though it can get quite muddy when the rains come. We deal mostly in farm trades, which means our day is dictated by the seasons and what the local farmers are bringing in. Our office is basically just a room with a sturdy table and some benches for people to sit on while we talk business. There is no sign out front that glows or anything, just the address and the name on the door. We spend a lot of time walking around the back where the goods are stored. It is a lot of physical labor, checking sacks of grain or whatever else is in season. We have a small group of people who work here, and we all know each other's families. It is not the kind of place where people wear suits. We wear our old clothes because things tend to get dirty pretty fast. We just try to be fair with everyone who comes through our door and keep things moving so the produce doesn't sit around for too long. It is a quiet existence but it keeps our plates full.
