Kalam Tuition Centre

If you walk through the Golden Rock Market area, you’ll find us easily enough. We’ve been operating in this part of Trichy for quite some time now. Being right by the market means there is always noise outside, people shouting and motorcycles passing by, but we’ve all gotten used to it. The tuition centre is just a few rooms where we sit down with students to go over their daily lessons. It isn’t anything fancy. We have old benches and some fans that rattle a bit when they are on high speed. Usually, kids come in right after their classes end, looking a bit tired but ready to get their work out of the way. We help them with whatever they are struggling with, usually the core subjects like science or accounts. Everyone who helps out here is from around Golden Rock, so we know the neighborhood well. Sometimes parents stop by to chat while they are doing their grocery shopping at the market nearby. It makes the place feel like a part of the community rather than just a school. We keep the doors open until fairly late so everyone has time to get their questions answered. There are no shiny brochures here. Just some notebooks, pens, and a lot of explanation going on every day. It’s a bit crowded during the exam months, but we manage to fit everyone in and keep the focus on the books. It is just a normal local spot for school help.
