Kalaivani Tutorial Centre

You can find us right on Madurai Road in Manaparai, just opposite the Municipality Complex. It’s a busy spot with lots of people moving around all day. The tutorial centre is basically a small suite of rooms where we help students with their daily school subjects. It’s not a very modern building, but it is sturdy and keeps the sun out. We have been here for a good while, and most people in Manaparai know where we are. We have simple wooden benches for the kids and some old fans that have been running for years. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we just open the windows and carry on with the work. We aren't a big chain with a lot of rules. We just sit down with the kids and go through their books until they understand the material. Sometimes we have to repeat things many times, but that’s just part of the job. Most parents come by to drop off their kids while they are heading to the market or the government offices across the street. We don't have any shiny posters or expensive equipment. It’s just paper, pens, and boards. We keep things low-key and practical. When the exams get close, we spend a lot more time here, often staying until it’s dark outside. It’s a straightforward place for learning in our local community that has served families in the 621306 area for years.
