It’s a quiet enough spot most days, though you do get the occasional crowd passing through. We spend a lot of time looking at drawings and working out technical details. Engineering isn't always as exciting as people think; it involves a lot of sitting around and checking numbers twice to make sure everything lines up right. Sri Ranga Avenue is a nice place to be based. The office has enough room for our gear and the few desks we use. We aren't big on decorations or fancy furniture because we’re usually too busy with the actual work. Sometimes the humidity in Srirangam gets to us, but we’ve got a couple of good fans that keep the air moving while we work. We know the neighbors pretty well by now, and it’s common to stop for a quick chat in the hallway. We don’t have a massive crew, just some folks who know their way around a project and don't mind getting their hands dirty when the situation calls for it. It’s a practical setup. We handle whatever comes our way, from simple tasks to the more head-scratching stuff, and then we lock up and head home like everyone else in the building. It keeps us busy and out of trouble for the most part.
